The screenplay for The Flight Of The Merlin was written by filmmaker Robert Geary and more recently developed by Rachel Dax. DaxiTales Ltd hope to bring this project to the big screen with Robert and Rachel co-directing the film.

The Flight Of The Merlin is a fast-paced adventure set in pre-World War II England and Germany. Sylvia Bassingdon is an aristocratic debutante who lives a decadent lifestyle flying across Europe enjoying the freedom of its pleasures. But as fascism takes hold of Germany, she is put to the test and sent by Churchill on an undercover mission at an air-race in Lübeck.

The Supermarine Spitfire created by R.J. Mitchell was initially a seaplane with a ‘Merlin’ engine and was later developed into the famous World War II Spitfire we are all familiar with.
